USWNT opens 2026 with a 6–0 rout of Paraguay as Trinity Rodman captains and scores

The U.S. Women’s National Team launched its 2026 schedule with a 6–0 friendly win over Paraguay at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, on January 24, 2026.
Reilyn Turner opened the scoring just before halftime, and the match broke open after the interval as the U.S. added five more goals. Ally Sentnor scored twice, and Trinity Rodman marked her first match as captain with a goal of her own.
The result also served as an early snapshot of coach Emma Hayes’ evolving pool, blending returning stars and newer faces as the program builds toward upcoming competitive windows.
